Winter in America


The Winter-in-America Study Immersion Camp is a 2-4 Week program designed for international students who want a taste of American academia and culture.

Program participants will attend an American high school with local students and go to classes taught by American teachers. After school, they will take ESL, TOEFL & SAT courses led by certified teachers. Students will also have the opportunity to tour American cities like Washington D.C and visit prominent museums and cultural sites.

Accommodation and Meals

Students will stay at Chapel Hill campus, a beautiful cottage-style estate sitting on 50 acres of pristine farmland located in Greenville, PA. Comprised of four buildings (Victoria Court, Raffles Hall, Fullerton House, and Lexington Stable), Chapel Hill campus’ wide open space affords students the ability to partake in numerous outdoor activities. The beautiful estate features an outdoor basketball court, multiple gardens, and spacious living and dining quarters fitted with mahogany wood throughout. It also has a large recreational lounge which gives students access to activities such as table-tennis, watching movies, and playing video games.

Program participants will be served international and American themed meals at their housing facilities and at the ASG Dining Hall, East Indies Cafe. Students can also dine at select local restaurants to sample cuisine from the area. Depending on the time of year, students will also participate in seasonal special dining events with ASG students and staff.
