ASG Food Service Offers a Copious Variety

ASG food services provides a variety of dishes from different nations with an American twist.”  ASG food services have recently revamped their entire menu to more effectively cater to the diverse tastes of our student body.  The food service staff has started using new recipes to more effectively recreate numerous international meals, as well as utilizing new kitchen ware for meal preparation.  Under the new menu, dishes from a variety of Asian nations are served Monday through Wednesday, Thursdays feature “hearty American” cuisine, and Fridays can see dishes from any nation in the world.  Fridays also often see guest chefs from countries including Malaysia, Korea, and Vietnam preparing specialties from their home countries.  Each meal also features vegetarian and Halal options to suit the dietary restrictions of any student.  Additionally, special meals are prepared for individual students who are missing a taste of home; “we cater to those who are really homesick.”  Candace Kunkle, Manager of Food Services says, “ASG food service staff is constantly responding to student feedback in an effort to ensure the greatest level of satisfaction with the dishes we prepare.”  The revamped food service menu has been a tremendous hit with ASG students and staff.  We look forward to seeing what other culinary delights from around the world that the exceptional ASG food service staff plans to introduce us to in the future!
