ASG Students Blast Down the Snow Tubes at Avalanche Xpress

February 7th, 2017 | Student Trips

American Scholar students hit the slopes on Saturday, February 4th for an exciting day of snow tubing at Avalanche Xpress, Northwestern Pennsylvania’s newest, longest, and steepest snow tubing park.  Snow tubing is a form of winter recreation, similar to sledding, in which participants ride air-filled innertubes downhill at high speeds.  This trip was the first experience snow tubing for most of our students, who had a blast as they shot down one of the six 900-foot tubing runs.  Additionally, this occasion provided a great opportunity to build relationships between the students and for them to interact with their American peers.  An interesting and enjoyable time was had by all, and our students can’t wait for the chance to go snow tubing again!
