The Kennedy Catholic Golden Eagles basketball team won the Class 1A Pennsylvania State basketball championship on March 23rd, in a close played game against Girard College.  The game’s final score was 73-56, indicating the athletic prowess displayed by both teams.  This is Kennedy’s second State Championship victory in two years, solidifying the school’s reputation as offering one of the premier basketball programs in Pennsylvania.  Six ASG students made the five-hour journey to Hershey, Pennsylvania to cheer on their peers at the state championship.  “It was exciting and fun.  I enjoyed watching my class mates play,” said James Aierpate.  Attending this championship game allowed our students to more fully integrate into their school community while embracing their school spirit.  Congratulations to the Kennedy Catholic Golden Eagles for their tremendous victory; their peers, community, and especially their ASG classmates are proud of this terrific achievement!
