If Student is Accepted
Step 1 – Student receives admissions package

Student Program Invoice

Part II of the ASG Application (Part II is due before student arrival)​​

Step 2 – Notify ASG of enrollment decision
Student notifies ASG of enrollment decision and submits deposit within 10 days
​
Step 3 – Student Deposit and I-20 Scan
Upon receipt of the student deposit, student I-20 is scanned and sent by first-class mail in a welcome package with relevant school and program information

Step 4 – Schedule Interview for F-1 Student Visa
Schedule an interview with the local American Embassy to obtain an F-1 student visa and notify ASG about your visa interview dates
​
Step 5 – Pay Tuition
If F-1 student visa interview is successful, full balance of tuition and program fees are due
​
Step 6 – Complete Part II of the Student Application
Submit Part II of ASG Application and all medical examination & immunization forms

Step 7 – Book your flights to Pittsburgh International Airport
Book flights to Pittsburgh International Airport and submit transportation request form (Contact your ASG Representative)

Step 8 – Orientation
Arrive for student orientation and start school!

Step 1 – Contact the admissions office
Get in touch with an American Scholar Representative to decide which school is most appropriate for your academic goals

Step 2 – Complete Part I of the Student Application
Complete and submit Part I of the ASG student application and all required supporting documents

Step 3 – Schedule an Interview
Schedule a student interview through your ASG representative or by contacting the ASG Admissions office at admissions@american-scholar.org
