Students for Charity Forges Bonds with Community

February 28th, 2017 | Club Spotlight

Students for Charity is a club full of opportunity for participating members.  The students involved in this club are currently active in helping the local community.  Their charitable work spans a wide range of different projects including volunteering at the local animal shelter, nursing home, and food pantry. The students often follow their own passions to find a project or organization that interests them, and due to their enthusiasm, our members create new ideas for projects both locally and globally.  Many members of the group go to schools that require volunteer service hours for graduation. However, by participating in Students for Charity they gain much more. They create connections within the community, develop leadership skills and gain experience that they can add to college applications. The club continues to grow in its excitement as they get ready to find their next project!
